Are all your employees’ High Risk Work Licences accurate and current? Whether you are an employer or a licence holder, WorkSafe recommends regularly checking licences to ensure they are valid and that all classes have been added.
Checking tickets/certificates of attainment for individual high-risk courses is not sufficient – employers should always sight a current High Risk Work Licence.
High Risk Work Licences expire every 5 years. Employees must not carry out high risk work until their licence has been renewed. It is important to note that adding a new class of high-risk work to a licence does not change its expiry date.
